imagebase.
The 3:2 crop is the only limit. Collected here are images of places and subjects, some of which I see everyday.
As a designer, I have a keen interest in shaping a piece’s message. In terms of photography, the pay-off is when all your work captures that moment.
You know it’s happened, or not, shortly after the shutter fires. It’s a lot easier when the subjects aren’t moving so much.
When I finished my required photography courses at NIU, I had the hope of one day owning a space large enough to furnish a dark room.
With the advent of digital photography all of that fits neatly into a silver box. I still take great deal of care bridging the gap between what
I want to achieve behind the lens and what I want to see on paper. Though I do miss the vinegar smelling finger tips.
The images captured here are taken with either a consumer EOS Rebel or a pro-sumer EOS 5D Mark II, and a fair amount of L Series glass. It's where I am right now.
Sometimes I get lucky.
A shameless promotion.
